Dr. Erez Tzfadia
Brief Biography

Dr. Erez Tzfadia is a lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Sapir Academic College in Israel. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Geography, Ben-Gurion University (Beer-Sheva) in Israel in 2002. Erez Tzfadia was a Lady Davis postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University (Jerusalem) in 2003. His research projects, publications and teaching focus on the role of national hegemonic mechanisms in immigrant absorption and settlement arenas, and the urban and local political and social patterns designed by these mechanisms. His approach is critical in its attempt to analyze official policies, ideologies and legal structures, and ascertain their influence on the structural stratification and social tension. His articles are published in leading international journals.
